I have been a creative my whole life-It doesn't matter if I have a pencil, camera or stylus in hand, I am always looking to see what I can create next.
Computers, cameras, lenses, paint, pencils and paper are just all tools of the trade- I pride myself in seeing things differently and being able to tell a story through art, no matter what the medium.
I started my career working in motion graphics with Starz Entertainment. I earned my keep as an intern and over the course of the next 8 years went from Design Assistant to Designer and eventually earning a spot as a Senior Designer. In this role, I got the opportunity to take large scale design campaigns from start to finish and even mentor junior designers and interns.
I have always had a love for capturing light and creating great images.
Once I started to work with lighting and modifiers, it took my photography to a whole new level. Shooting lifestyle and portraits with people takes not only good lighting and a good camera, but also a good director to put them at ease in front of the lens- another skill that I have worked hard on over the past few years.
Elite knowledge of lighting technique is great for product photography. Knowing when to reel it back in and really set a mood for headshots and lifestyle shots is essential to making my images look high-end and professional.
Pulling it all together and creating some comprehensive designs is where it is at. Nice to have full control over all the imagery and video content shot so that I can end up with a fully tailored result.
